Ski

For the winter months there is the ski-centre in Pertouli that is located in the middle of Elati and Pertouli and abstains 7 km from the village, where skiers and all people who love the snow can enjoy a lot of types of their beloved sport, as ski tracks , ski of resistance, mountaineering ski, snowmobiles, air lift (ski lift) and sledges.

The base station of ski centre is in 1200 metres altitude, while the top station is located in 1340 metres high. It allocates a track for children, a track for beginners, a track of intermediate degree of difficulty and one for experienced skiers.

During the ski season, nights of ski are also organised by the ski centre.

Hiking- Mountaineering

For the fans of hiking and mountaineering there exists a great network of paths that composes the European Path E4 that goes through the region of Koziakas and leads to almost all the tops of around mountains.

Reccomended ways: Elati – Profitis Ilias Forest, Elati – Koziakas, Αrkoudotripa, Tripio Lithari, Mpei’s Cave, Kalogeromandri, Mountain shelter, etc.

Climbing

For the fans of climbing, there is the climbing field of “Red Rock ” (our hotel was namef after this this location) , which is found not far from the centre of village,15 minutes from the square and in altitude of 1100 m. roughly. It is the ideal point for someone to enjoy the beautiful view. Red Rock is a 70 metres high limestone, with six paths of various degrees of difficulty to climb.

Cycling

The central road that connects the villages is ideal for street bicycle , when there is not so many cars in the road. The meadows in Pertoyli, however, is the ideal place for the sport. The network of forestal streets is offered for mountain bike and at the same time can a man enjoy better the mountainous view of the region, because the cycler will have the chance to be in amazing locations in the forests.
Since 2008 the International Race of Mountain Bike is held with big success and attendance from “OUT SPORTS” association.

Horse Riding

In the meadows of Pertouli, with the proper guidance of experienced instructors, can each one who loves horse riding to have a ride in the meadows or in the forest and enjoy the beauty of this region.

Archery

A great opportunity to know and acquire this sport in its natural space.

Hunting

In the checked hunting region of Koziakas, where there are various preys, such as wild boars, wild goats, deers roebucks, hares, pheasants, woodcocks, partridges, quails etc can the hunter practice his hobby at the allowed periods.

Fishing

The visitor can during the summertime fish trouts, and other species in the Acheloos river or (Aspropotamos) and the other branch rivers.

Swimming

Daredevils can swim in the frozen but crystal clear waters of Acheloos or Aspropotamos river, as it is differently said, and also its bruch rivers and it is highly recommended for the visitors to swim during July and August when the waters are not so cold.

Canoe –Kayak – Rafting

From the region Tria Potamia up to the bridge Alexioun in Agia Paraskevi , Acheloos or Aspropotamos river provides this possibility, for the above mentioned sports, especially when the waters are turbulent. In the location of Tria Potamia there is a centre where you can be educated and informed about those sports in order to be safe during the sports.

Also you can visit the villages of Aspropotamos and enjoy starting from Elati, other villages such as Pertouli – Neraidochori – Pirra – Desi – Agios Nikolaos – Gardiki – Athamania – Polithea – Doliana etc.
